Wedding season is here!
It is an exciting time of year.
Hair trials have been ongoing since the beginning of the year. If you are a bride deciding what hairstyle you would like for your wedding day. There are a few factors that need to be considered when deciding on your hairstyle. e.g The theme of your wedding. Your style of dress. Any features that you want to show off and of course your personal preference.
Here are a few options for hairstyle choices.
Half up half down
This hairstyle is perfect if you are not used to wearing your hair up. It keeps your hair away from your face so you won’t be tempted to mess with it. The relaxed style is popular with brides and bridesmaids. There are options of bringing the hair to the back of your head with a lovely sweep, plait or a twist. Bringing a little more detail into the style. Perfect for a veil comb and a hair slide.
A bouncy blow dry
For brides who do not want their hair pulled away from their face. A blow dry is such a simple yet stunning style to go for. Tumbling waves down your back make for a gorgeous look. If you are planning on wearing a veil or hairpins there is a small struggle of needing kirby grips to secure these in. However, a hairband or nothing at all work perfectly.
An up do bun shape
This is my most requested hairstyle. A ‘messy bun’. They work beautifully when you want to wear a hair comb and a veil. If you wedding day is looking to be a hot day, this will keep you cooler than having your hair down. It is also a great option if you know your hair does not hold a curl very well. This hairstyle will not be going anywhere all night long!
An up do at the base of the neck.
This is similar to the messy bun but instead of the shape being round, it is pinned across the base of your head. This can be good if you have short hair that is not long enough to be pulled up into a bun but you want to wear your hair up.
This bridesmaid requested a ponytail. However, she did not want it to feel like an everyday ponytail that she wears for work. A lovely volume crown and some curls later- voila! A special occasion hairstyle.
